Loubijoux (pronounced loo-bee-‘zhu) first began in 2009; chains were long and charm laden and almost everything included a cameo. Loubijoux has since evolved to naturally become bolder, more abstract and more in line with my own style.

My collection combines carefully sourced true vintage components with new elements to create a unique range of limited edition pieces. Limited in edition because I can only ever make as many pieces as I can obtain the parts for. Each piece is hand produced in my converted attic studio in Leeds, Yorkshire.

I work in what feels like a back to front way, using the unusual components I source from all over the world as a starting point for most of my designs. I mix these with contemporary shapes in brass, resin and polymer clay - using wire and metal manipulation techniques, allowing further exploration of colour and form.
